REVIEW: Cinderella and the Sheikh by Teresa Morgan

Cinderella and the Sheikh

4.5 HEARTS

She's about to get charmed...

Libby Fay's safe little life as a waitress at a posh New York boutique hotel implodes when Sheikh Rasyn Al Jabar, black-eyed and seductive, crashes into her world and swears that he loves her.

The powerful sheikh will do anything to prevent becoming the ruler of his North African homeland, including marrying a woman who is inappropriate to be queen. When he sees the beautiful, bubbly waitress, he knows that she is the perfect wife to help him avoid the throne—all he has to do is make her fall in love with him.

All her life, Libby has longed for the same loving, equal partnership her parents had—something she couldn't possibly have with a forceful sheikh who ignores all her objections. But Rasyn seems to be able to charm her into anything, including his bed. Soon, she finds herself on a plane to Abbas, transported into a fairy tale come true.

Unfortunately for Libby, a Cinderella is the last thing this Prince Charming wants.

This is the second Sheikh story I have read by Teresa Morgan.

Not only does she have the knack for dominant, aggressive and arrogant Sheikh's but she is a damn good writer too.

I really enjoyed this story.

Libby may have been a little gullible at times - well really, really gullible at times, but I could see a lot of myself in her. She wanted to be loved and although she knew taking off with Rasyn was pretty damn stupid, she kinda, sorta, wanted to follow her heart anyway...or her vagina which seemed to be the brightest pulsing body part at times.

And Rasyn was a douche for what he did to Libby - REALLY. BIG. DOUCHE. but I also found his actions were redeemed. I loved, absolutely LOVED how Teresa made Libby find out about the betrayal. Rasyn took his punishment head-on and it made my heart ache for him.

Both characters were admirable and I put this story down with a chest filled with the warm and fuzzies.

I love Teresa Morgan's writing style. She provides smooth, polished stories and I look forward to reading more from her.
