To say that Long Time Coming was HOT would be the understatement of the year! The words of this wickedly naughty story practically incinerate the pages. Jennifer James is definitely a woman with a very creative mind. *wink wink*

What I found refreshing about this story is that it is told in the hero's POV, something you don't find often in erotica and I have to say that Ms. James did a spectacular job of getting Rob's very, shall we say, descriptive parts down pat. And one wonders just how much "research" she did to make sure she got all those details correct.

The premise of the story is pretty enticing. Rob grows up fantasizing about his sister's friend, Joey, and ten years later when Rob's sister gets married Joey is the Maid of Honor. That weekend Rob gets to live out every guy's fantasy of doing your sister's friend AND the Maid of Honor. And to top it off Joey is just looking for a no strings attached full on sex weekend. Rob should win a prize, a really big prize. But here's the kicker, and what I love about Rob, he wants more than just sex, he wants the girl too. Not only is he good in bed but he has a heart and he isn't afraid to use it. Just where are all the Rob's at in this world? The problem is trying to convince the skeptical Joey that there is more to the two of them than just what happens during the wedding weekend.

The chemistry between Joey and Rob is sizzling and the sex is so good that you might want to have your significant other nearby or leave an extra 10 minutes in your schedule for a cold shower. And I swear I will never look at a closet in the food court the same way again! The ending only left me wanting more of Rob and Joey so let's hope that maybe they will appear somewhere else in the future. If you are looking for an uncomplicated, smexy, oh-my-God honey can we try that? kind of book look no further than Long Time Coming!
