I’ve always been an avid romance reader and although I read everything from historical to contemporary to paranormal, I’ve always gravitated towards suspense. I love the building tension, twists and turns, and escalating surprises that keep me guessing. It’s no surprise that I now write suspense, too, both in my paranormal and contemporary novels.

In my Para-Ops series, I take my readers from Washington D.C to North Korea to Los Angeles to France. I introduce them to an elite special ops team comprised of a vampire, werebeast, mage, and wraith. In my contemporary novels, I explore the world of undercover cops and state special agents who chase down drug lords and murderers. At their core, however, the stories aren’t really very different. They’ve got lots of action, strong heroes and heroines, and plenty of sexual tension.

In my upcoming release, Shades Of Temptation, Jase Tyler and Carrie Ward are detectives tracking down a serial killer. To get to their HEA, however, Carrie needs to accept that being a cop doesn’t make her less attractive as a woman. In fact, to Jase, Carrie’s strength is as alluring as her vulnerability.

No matter the genre or the specific plot, my goal is to give my readers a thrilling ride that sweeps them away, not just with the suspense plot, but with the characters and their emotional journey.
