INTERVIEW/SCORE A COPY: The Light Within Me by Carly Fall

Today we have Carly Fall with us, sharing a little information on herself and her writing. Please make her feel welcome.
Please tell our followers a little about yourself. What is a typical day in the life of ‘you’?

Carly: First, thank you so much for having me.

A typical day goes like this: I'm up at 6:30 to get my son to school by 7:55. After that I go to the gym or go for a run. Then I sit in front of my computer for insane hours, writing and taking care of business stuff. My son gets home between 3 and 4:30 depending on the day, and I'm back into mommy-mode until about 9. I may watch a little TV with the hubs, but I'm usually back at my computer until 10, and then I crash.

Do you have a current work in progress? If so, can you tell us a little about it?

Carly: I do. It's the third installment of the Six Saviors series, featuring my broken-hearted Warrior, Hudson. Drama, heartache, sex and romance will ensue :)

What has been the hardest emotionally or time consuming thing you’ve had to research for one of your stories?

Carly: In the second installment of the Six Saviors Series titled Finding My Faith, I spent hours researching Native American Legends trying to find one that I could use in the story. It was time consuming, but I did enjoy reading the legends. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one that fit my purpose, so I had to make one up.

Have any of your characters resembled people in real life?

Carly: There are snippets of people I know in my characters. For instance, in Finding My Faith, when describing her childhood I loosely based it on my brothers childhood (he was hell on wheels). In The Light Within Me (Book 1 of the Six Saviors), Abby is very beautiful, but doesn't realize it. I have a friend like that.

Do you read reviews of your books? If so, do you pay attention to them enough to influence your writing?

Carly: I do read reviews, and I really appreciate the people who take the time to write them, but they influence me very little. I am a big believer that you can't please everyone all the time, and if you try, you'll end up pleasing no one. But sometimes a reviewer will say something that makes a lot of sense, and I make a mental note of it for my next book.

Quickie Question Round

Sexiest feature in a man? A nice firm, well-built chest

If you were deserted on an island and could only have one man with you – who would it be? Easy. Joe Manganiello (Alcide from True Blood - oh, yum)

Tell us something on your bucket list. Visiting Australia and New Zealand

Your bookshelf is on fire, you can only save what you can carry what do you save? My KIndle :)

And lastly, If our viewers wanted to find out more about your work where can they find it and you?

  9. Great interview ladies and it is such a pleasure to have you here with us Carly! I do have a question for you. Of the series that you have, what has been your favorite book to write and why?

    1. Delilah,

This is such a hard question for me! I like all of them for different reasons. Noah from The Light Within Me was fun to write because he's brash, doesn't have a whole lot of tact, and such a simple guy. Rayner and Faith from Finding My Faith were also fun because I got to play around with the paranormal (Rayner can see and talk to people who are caught in between life and death), and Faith is one of those people who wakes up everyday excited by life. If I had to choose, I think The Light Within Me was my favorite to write :)
